Job Overview We are seeking motivated and dependable Independent Contractors to join our moving and junk removal team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently assisting clients with their relocation and / or junk removal needs. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure a smooth moving or disposal experience, from loading and unloading to delivering items securely to their new destinations or city waste. This position offers scheduling that will be at an on call basis while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Load, unload, and organize household or commercial items using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as dollies, body straps, various tools and equipment including Boom lifts, Chainsaws, Concrete Saws, Stump Grinders, Power Tools, Scissors Lifts, Ect. Safely operate various types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering to traffic laws Assist with packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage during transit Drive route-specific deliveries, ensuring timely arrivals while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude Communicate effectively with clients to coordinate arrival and delivery times also address any special handling instructions Perform heavy lifting with proper form to prevent injury, following safe lifting practices at all times Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and equipment used during moving operations Skills Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly advantageous Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or van/courier services Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles such as box trucks or personal vehicles safely and confidently Skilled in manual handling, heavy lifting, and using material handling equipment like pallet jacks or carts Ability to navigate a box / dump trailer Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation, communication, and documentation during routes Join us if you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your physical strength, driving skills, and customer-focused attitude can shine! $40.00 - $100.00 per day
