Job Description
McCormick Law Firm has an opening for a part-time courier position. This job is 40 hours weeks, working on a rotating weekly schedule.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle to drive (vehicle not provided)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite-including outlook and word
- Ability to operate standard office equipment-computer, scanner, printer, postage meter, etc.
- Ability to climb stairs and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Travel to/from various locations as needed, including but not limited to courthouses in the surrounding areas, banks, post offices, businesses, etc.
- Hand Deliver and retrieve items as directed
- Collect, sort and deliver all mail/packages to appropriate parties
- Ordering and picking up staff lunches
- Interact with management, clients, coworkers, businesses and the general public in a professional manner
- Keep accurate mileage and reimbursement records
- Minor maintenance at the office
- Breakroom stocking and general cleaning up
- Perform other duties as assigned
