Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Courier Driver and become the vital link in delivering goods efficiently and reliably to our customers. In this energetic role, you will operate various types of trucks and delivery vehicles, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs across designated routes. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help us maintain exceptional service standards while navigating diverse driving environments. Duties Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including trucks with manual transmissions, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized freight carriers. Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper handling and securement of freight such as roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and tractor-trailers. Follow assigned routes diligently, adhering to schedules while maintaining safety protocols on the road. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to verify mechanical condition, safety features, and compliance with transportation regulations. Load and unload freight accurately, verifying shipment contents against delivery manifests. Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance reports. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to update delivery statuses or report issues promptly. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Proven truck driving or delivery driver experience in a fast-paced environment. Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is a plus. Knowledge of route planning, traffic laws, and safety regulations for commercial vehicles. Strong physical stamina for load handling, including lifting heavy freight when necessary. trucks.
