Job Summary Delivers specimens, documents or records, or supplies to a medical laboratory in a timely manner. Responsibilities Job Duties Documents and tracks the items being transported. Loads vehicles, ensuring safety and security of items. Ensures all storage and handling is done in compliance with safety and infection control procedures; items transported may be considered pathogens or biohazards. Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter. .
