In this role, you will be picking up a small batch of packages (30 to 60 per day), from a location in ZIP Code 75024 (Plano, Texas). As a difference with Amazon Flex, all the packages will be delivered in a small area: 2-3 miles radius from the pick up place. To deliver 30 packages, it usually takes between 1 hour and 1 hour and a half. One of our partners has been doing that himself to test the time, route, effort, etc. A car or small SUV is required, Texas driver's license, be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the USA without limitations. Amazon Logistics will run a background check. This person will be responsible for delivering products safely and efficiently to our valued customers. Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service, combined with your strong driving skills and organizational abilities, will ensure timely deliveries and positive client experiences. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles, regulations and safe lifting practices. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals at each destination. Load, unload, and secure merchandise using proper heavy lifting techniques to prevent injury and damage. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, while organizing daily schedules effectively using Amazon application. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in delivery or ridesharing driving is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of route driving, automobile transportation, and safe lifting practices. Basic math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, and inventory counts. Proven ability to build positive customer relationships through effective communication skills. Retail store experience or merchandising background is a plus for understanding product placement and presentation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining organizational skills during busy delivery schedules.
