Calling all Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Spark, and gig app drivers! Are you already self-employed and looking for occasional guaranteed work with out having a full time job or having to chase your pay for the day? On Fleet Logistics is seeking a reliable independent contractor to provide route coverage when our full-time drivers need requested time off, or in an emergency. This position is ideal for someone with a flexible schedule who enjoys driving and working independently.

Position Overview:

Pick up small auto parts from a warehouse in Salt Lake City Deliver to locations through out the valley, delivery location is determined by the route needing coverage. Multiple pickup times may occur throughout the day Routes will vary depending on coverage needs Most coverage days will be scheduled in advance, though occasional short-notice availability is important

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required Clean driving record — MVR required with no major moving violations Safe, reliable vehicle with good fuel economy Smartphone with GPS capabilities required Comfortable driving in all weather conditions Responsible for your own gas, maintenance, and vehicle expenses Must complete 1099 and independent contractor paperwork. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently, driving, listening to music or podcasts, and being on the road. If you are currently seeking fulltime employment please do not apply as I need you for a backup only and do not need to train you for this position only to have you be unavailable. Pay is twice a month aligning with the payment schedule below: 1-15th paid on the last day of the month 16-end of month paid on the 15th of the following month You will need to have the funds to pay for your own gas for this position. Training will be for two days and then you will be on call after that. You are only paid for days that you work this is not an on call daily pay position. Please message me with any questions.
