This vital role ensures that customer aircraft receive the highest level of care and attention to detail. As an Aircraft Detailer, you will be responsible for the final appearance of aircraft, both inside and out, performing detailing tasks such as degreasing components, waxing exteriors, caring for leather seats, and cleaning aircraft interiors. You will also assist with aircraft movement, facility upkeep, and transportation of pilots and clients. Key responsibilities:
- Perform interior and exterior detailing of aircraft, including waxing, degreasing, and window cleaning.
- Clean carpets, remove stains, and care for leather seats.
- Clean aircraft engines using approved solvents.
- Maintain and seal pneumatic deice-boots.
- Assist with aircraft movement using towing equipment and follow safety protocols.
- Perform general facility maintenance and improvement projects.
- Drive company vehicles to reposition pilots, clients, or deliver aircraft components.
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
- Interact professionally with customers and provide exceptional service.
Required Qualifications and skills:
Must be physically able to perform aircraft waxing, polishing, and detailing.- Possess a valid Class C driver's license (standard driver's license).
- Clean DMV record with no serious violations or DUIs.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to follow directions and work independently.
- Respect for authority and ability to contribute as a team player.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Willing to perform additional duties as assigned by management.
