Oversee inventory control for fuel, liquor, grocery items, and retail products; conduct regular stock audits and manage purchasing to optimize stock levels. Handle cash register operations using POS systems; process transactions accurately while maintaining cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end. Train new employees on store policies, POS systems, customer service techniques, and safety protocols; foster a positive team environment through effective communication. Enforce store policies related to alcohol sales, including verifying IDs and adhering to legal age restrictions; ensure responsible alcohol service. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the store; conduct routine inspections and address any issues promptly. Skills Proven management experience in retail or convenience store environments with supervisory responsibilities. Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and merchandising techniques. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities. Demonstrated ability in employee orientation, training & development, and team leadership. Skilled in negotiation, purchasing decisions, budgeting, and operational management to maximize profitability.
