Job Summary:

Responsible for operating lavatory servicing equipment, servicing of aircraft lavatories. This includes unloading lavatory waste, cleaning the lavatory system, and refilling the lavatory fluid.

Job Duties:

Operate the lavatory equipment.

Ensure timely availability of lavatory equipment, including its fueling and maintenance.

Service aircraft lavatories by emptying waste receptacles.

Use lavatory and sanitary water equipment to empty, flush and fill aircraft systems.

Follow environmental procedures while emptying waste trucks and fueling the same.

Clean aircraft lavatories and empty waste receptacles.

Adhere to all safety and other procedures and policies.

Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards

Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Has a Driving License.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the license required for driving lavatory service vehicle.
  • Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
Physical requirements:

Must be able to constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs, walk, stand, reach above shoulder, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend. Will have to occasionally lift, move and carry: weights up to 70lbs, climb and crawl.

Working conditions:

Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.

Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
