In this vital role, you will provide safe, reliable transportation services for patients and clients who require assistance traveling to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or other non-emergency destinations. Your friendly demeanor and excellent driving skills will ensure each passenger feels comfortable and cared for throughout their journey. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who depend on accessible transportation services. Responsibilities Safely operate vans to transport patients and clients to scheduled appointments Assist clients with boarding, disembarking, and securing wheelchair and gurneys Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles to ensure safety and comfort Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during every trip Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and healthcare facilities to coordinate schedules and address any concerns Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and report any issues promptly Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices or luggage as needed Skills Proven experience in passenger transportation roles Familiarity with paratransit services and commercial driving regulations Strong communication skills to interact professionally with diverse passengers Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when assisting passengers or handling equipment Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and customer service excellence Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early Experience in wheelch and gurney operations is a plus but not required Join us in delivering dependable transportation solutions that prioritize safety, comfort, and compassionate service.
