We are a locally owned company based in Fontana, CA, and have proudly served the Inland Empire since 2019. We transport Medi-Cal patients and medically vulnerable members of our community — including dialysis patients, seniors, and individuals with disabilities — to their medical appointments with safety, dignity, and care. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by ensuring they reach their medical appointments comfortably and on time. As an NEMT Driver, you will operate company passenger vans with professionalism and care, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations while delivering exceptional customer service. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, patients, and medical facility staff regarding pick-up times, delays, or route changes to enhance the client experience. Perform physical tasks as needed, such as assisting clients on a gurney or in a wheelchair and loading medical equipment into the vehicle. Accurately document transportation logs, including mileage, client details, and any incidents or concerns during trips. Represent the company with patience, respect, and professionalism at all times. --- Qualifications Valid California driver's license with a clean MVR (no DUIs; no more than one minor moving violation in the past 3 years). Excellent driving record, with consistent adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. Ability to safely assist passengers in and out of vehicles, including gurney and wheelchair handling. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Experience with GPS navigation systems and familiarity with local driving routes to ensure timely arrivals. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients. Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks, including assisting passengers with mobility aids or heavy equipment. Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance routines and troubleshooting to help ensure vehicle reliability. Must be 21 years of age or older (insurance requirement).
