This position is responsible for safely transporting building materials and products to customer locations and job sites while providing professional and courteous service. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, comfortable with physical work, and able to manage deliveries efficiently while following all company safety procedures and Florida driving laws.CDL NOT REQUIRED
Responsibilities Safely load, transport, and deliver materials to customers and job sites Verify materials and quantities before leaving the warehouse Secure loads properly before transportation Follow assigned delivery schedules and communicate delays when necessary Plan safe and efficient delivery routes Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain the cleanliness and basic condition of company vehicles Assist with loading and unloading materials at the warehouse and job sites Obtain required delivery signatures and documentation Maintain accurate delivery and driving records Follow all company safety policies and applicable driving regulations Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members Assist with warehouse duties when deliveries are completed or as needed Qualifications Valid Florida Driver's License Clean and acceptable driving record Previous delivery or truck-driving experience preferred Experience delivering building materials or construction-related products is a plus Ability to safely lift, carry, load, and unload materials Ability to work outdoors and perform physical duties throughout the workday Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to follow delivery instructions and work with limited supervision Familiarity with GPS/navigation systems Strong commitment to workplace and driving safety Must pass a pre-employment drug screening Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace Dependable attendance and punctuality are required What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, safety-conscious, and ready to work .
