Future Self Logistics LLC is hiring Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers to provide both stretcher (STR) and non-stretcher transportation services . This position requires professionalism, physical capability, and strict adherence to safety, conduct, and compliance standards. Schedule & Hours Hours are based on transportation needs Schedules vary depending on VA Travel authorizations, trip volume, and operational demand Early mornings, extended routes, and variable hours may be required Key Responsibilities Non-Stretcher NEMT Duties Safely transport veterans to and from authorized medical appointments Assist passengers who are ambulatory or use wheelchairs, walkers, or rollators Properly secure wheelchairs and mobility devices before vehicle movement Follow assigned routes and Dispatch instructions Maintain professional communication and protect passenger dignity and privacy Stretcher (STR) Support Duties Assist with stretcher transports and patient loading and unloading Safely secure stretchers and related equipment Work cooperatively with partners or medical personnel as required Follow all lifting, securement, and patient-handling protocols Immediately report safety concerns, patient instability, or equipment issues Physical & Lifting Requirements This position involves physical activity, particularly for STR assignments. Drivers must be able to perform the following, with or without reasonable accommodation: Lift, push, and pull stretchers, wheelchairs, and mobility equipment Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach to secure passengers and equipment Assist with loading and unloading patients and equipment safely Maintain physical stamina for extended routes and variable schedules Follow proper body-mechanics and safety procedures at all times Requirements Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record Ability to pass background check and driving history review Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening Must consent to random drug and alcohol testing as required by company policy Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow strict safety, HIPAA, uniform, and conduct policies Ability to safely perform physical duties related to STR and non-STR transport Important Standards (Strictly Enforced) Zero tolerance for unsafe driving, road rage, or aggressive behavior No weapons allowed in company vehicles or worksites Uniform compliance required.
