As a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver , you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring that our clients receive reliable and professional transportation. Our fleet includes both Bariatric and Standard transits, ensuring that we can accommodate a variety of patient requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe, friendly, and professional transportation to our clients, ensuring a door-through-door service approach. Load, secure, and unload passengers, including those using wheelchairs and stretchers, with care, efficiency, and safety minded approach. Monitor and ensure the comfort and well-being of each client throughout their trip. Operate hydraulic lifts and other vehicle equipment safely. Follow dispatch and routing instructions through our advanced NEMT software. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of the vehicle. Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicles. Restocking the equipment and vehicles. Reports any obvious mechanical malfunctions or deficiencies to the supervisor immediately. Complete all required documentation and reports clearly and accurately. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up to date with safety and operational best practices.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid Florida driver license with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass background check, drug screenin g and health attestation . Must be atleast 23 years with a passion to help others. Ability to lift 75 pounds and assist passengers with mobility challenges. Must be able to commute to Tampa, FL 33624 (Required) Strong customer service skills and a compassionate demeanor. Ability to work independently and follow dispatch instructions efficiently. Willingness to participate in company-provided training and certification programs. Previous experience in NEMT, paratransit, or a related field is a plus.
