The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and effective communication skills. The Transport Driver will operate various vehicles, including vans, shuttles, and limousines, ensuring a comfortable and efficient travel experience for all clients. Responsibilities Safely operate vehicles such as vans, shuttles, limousines, or buses to transport passengers or deliver goods. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey. Communicate effectively with passengers to provide information about routes, schedules, and any necessary assistance. Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger counts. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during transport. Assist with heavy lifting of luggage or cargo as needed. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in driving various types of vehicles such as vans, shuttles, limousines, or buses is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with passengers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during passenger boarding or cargo handling. Previous experience in customer service is a plus. Familiarity with paratransit services or delivery driving is advantageous. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
