In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from various destinations, ensuring a comfortable and reliable experience. Your expertise in passenger vehicle operation, adherence to traffic and transportation regulations, and excellent customer service skills will help us deliver exceptional transportation services. This position offers a dynamic work environment where safety, punctuality, and professionalism are paramount. Duties Safely operate passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttle buses, or client-specific transportation vans along designated local routes. Transport clients to scheduled appointments, medical facilities, or other destinations while maintaining punctuality and safety standards. Assist clients with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing courteous support and ensuring comfort during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, including checking fuel levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and overall vehicle condition; perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly. Follow all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times. Communicate effectively with clients regarding schedules or route changes; address any concerns professionally to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records as required by company policies. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, or chauffeur with a strong understanding of local driving routes. Experience operating various passenger vehicles such as vans, limousines, or school buses; familiarity with passenger van operation is highly desirable. Knowledge of GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time navigation adjustments. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including loading/unloading luggage or equipment safely. Prior medical transportation experience is a plus; understanding of client confidentiality and sensitivity is essential. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; adherence to traffic regulations and safety protocols is mandatory. Strong customer service and communication skills to interact positively with clients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary and perform routine vehicle maintenance checks confidently.
