A Light Truck Delivery Driver drives smaller vehicles, such as vans, pickup trucks, or box trucks, to make local customer deliveries for a business. They may work for courier services, delivery companies, retail stores, or wholesalers, typically making multiple deliveries throughout the day.
6-10 stops per route We are seeking experienced CDL Class A Delivery Drivers to transport and deliver medical supplies and healthcare products to hospitals, nursing homes, senior assisted living facilities, doctors' offices, and other medical facilities. This is a home daily CDL A driving position with multiple shift options available. Drivers will operate a day cab with a dry van trailer and are responsible for safely transporting palletized and boxed medical supplies to customers throughout the assigned delivery area. This position is ideal for a CDL A truck driver, local delivery driver, medical supply delivery driver, route driver, or Class A delivery professional who enjoys customer interaction and wants to be home every day. Driver Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A CDL day cab and dry van Deliver medical supplies to hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, doctors' offices, and healthcare facilities Complete approximately 6-10 deliveries per route Handle touch freight and palletized freight Load and unload products using manual pallet jacks, lift gates, two-wheel hand trucks, carts, and wheeled equipment Deliver primarily palletized medical supplies with occasional boxed freight Carefully move and position products at customer locations Verify deliveries and interact professionally with customers and facility staff Maintain a professional, friendly, and presentable appearance Perform required vehicle and equipment inspections Follow all DOT, safety, company, and customer requirements Complete required delivery paperwork and documentation Maintain a clean and safe delivery vehicle Successfully complete one week of paid training before being released to drive independently
