Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure safety standards are maintained. Follow all state transportation regulations and healthcare protocols related to medical transportation services. Handle heavy lifting of wheelchairs or mobility aids with proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury. Qualifications Prior experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, limousine chauffeur, shuttle driver, or personal vehicle delivery is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating passenger vans or passenger vehicles preferred. Knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to optimize efficiency. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and coordination with healthcare teams. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting or securing mobility devices or patients' belongings.
