Job Description
Position Title:
Utility person - Warehouse, Shop, DriverPOSITION SUMMARY
Make sure all stops and deliveries are made within the guidelines and expectations of the customer and the Company's procedures. Ensures products, parts or supplies are shipped, distributed, or received in an efficient manner. Prepares or reviews distribution documents. Communicate with Dispatcher or with customers about status of orders. Receives product into the warehouse, stocks, and rotates merchandise. Learns basic shop practices of cleaning, repairing, and preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment. Completes repairs on this equipment in a store environment. Communicates with shop manager or with customers about status of equipmentPOSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. Ability to lift 75 lbs. 2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 3. Ability to travel when necessary 4. The ability to add, subtract, multiply or divide quickly and correctly 5. Minimum age of 21 years old 6. Maintains a clean driver's license with no DWI or DUI violations 7. Able to pass pre-employment and post-employment drug tests and background checks 8. Able to pass DOT physical and maintain DOT medical card 9. Maintain a full-time work schedule of Monday - Friday and some Saturdays. Additional evening or weekend work may be required determined upon customers' needs.RESPONSIBLE TO
: Branch ManagerESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Drives truck over established routes to deliver companies products and equipment 2. Build relationships with customers by providing exceptional service 3. Responsible for loading their own truck with supplies and orders 4. Helps keep warehouse clean and organized 5. Listen to and resolve customers' complaints regarding products or services 6. Manages own time to accomplish all responsibilities 7. Performs routine maintenance on equipment and determines when and what kind of maintenance is needed 8. Treats all internal/external contacts as customers and strives to exceed their expectations by providing responsive, adaptive, and exceptional value-added service 9. Travels between various customer sites to complete on-site repairs as directed or necessary 10. Is responsible for the cleanliness of the vehicle 11. Is responsible for fulfillment of preventive maintenance of vehicle (Tires, brakes, oil, water, lights, fuel) 12. Maintains a professional appearance and abides by Company's dress policy 13. Assists customers in loading or unloading merchandise 14. Handles receiving, storage, and product rotating of incoming freight 15.
