Krisp Events | Brooklyn, NY (East Williamsburg)$21.00 per hour | Full time, hourly, non-exemptKrisp Events is a Brooklyn based off-site catering company. We produce close to 1,000 corporate events a year, most of them in Manhattan, and we own our own inventory of ovens, tables, glassware, silverware, and serving equipment. That means our warehouse is the engine of the whole operation. If our trucks leave clean, loaded correctly, and on time, the event goes well. If they don't, everyone feels it.

We are hiring a Truck Driver / Warehouse Helper to join our warehouse team.

What you'll doDrive our box trucks to event venues throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and occasionally New Jersey and the outer boroughsLoad and unload food, beverage, rental equipment, and catering suppliesNavigate NYC loading docks, freight elevators, and building check in proceduresReturn equipment to the warehouse, unload, and help with cleaning, organizing, and restockingHelp with inventory counts, packouts, and general warehouse upkeep between deliveriesCommunicate clearly with the warehouse manager and event captains when plans change on the flyWhat we're looking forValid driver's license with a clean driving recordComfortable driving a box truck in New York City traffic and parking situationsAble to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shiftReliable and on time, every time. Our schedule does not have slack in itAvailable for early mornings, evenings, and weekends depending on the event calendarPrior catering, food service, moving, or delivery experience is a plus but not requiredMust be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)ScheduleHours vary by day based on the event calendar. Our busiest stretches are May through July and September through December. Some days start early, some run late, and weekend availability is important.
