As a key member of our transportation services, you will operate passenger vehicles with professionalism, adhere to all traffic and safety regulations, and deliver exceptional customer service to clients in need. Responsibilities Safely operate various passenger vehicles including vans, shuttles, and limousines to transport clients to and from medical appointments, ensuring timely arrivals. Navigate local driving routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems while adhering strictly to all traffic laws and state transportation regulations. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous support especially for those with mobility challenges or special needs. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure safety and reliability of the transportation fleet. Communicate clearly with clients to confirm appointments, provide updates on schedules, and address any special requests or concerns professionally. Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as assisting with mobility devices or luggage, always following proper manual handling procedures. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle condition reports for compliance and operational efficiency. Qualifications Prior experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, or chauffeur driving passenger vehicles is highly preferred. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for larger vehicles), with a clean driving record. Experience operating GPS navigation systems and familiarity with local driving routes. Knowledge of state transportation regulations and safety standards related to passenger vehicle operation. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact empathetically with diverse clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and comfortably handle manual tasks associated with transporting equipment or luggage. Proven reliability in adhering to traffic laws, maintaining punctuality, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
