Job Responsibilities:

Transport individuals in a safe, timely and professional manner Operate various sized vehicles such as wheelchair accessible vans Assist individuals enter or exit the vehicle including the use of a ramp Performs regular and routine inspection of vans. Communicate with Transportation Operations Managers to ensure accurate routes and timely pickup and drop off Accurately complete daily trip logs by following established standards set forth by BeeJay Homecare. Maintain direct communication with driving managers and other drivers for any other assistance needed Ensure vans are clean and comfortable for all individuals Communicates service needs to Transportation Operations Manager Follows established policies and procedures, including required training and licenses. Performs other duties as needed and/or required

Job Qualifications and Skills:

Age Requirements:

At least 18 years of age GED or high school diploma

Licensing:

Valid driver's license (required) Have a valid vehicle insurance and registration

Driving Record:

A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required Ability to use technology such as smart phones and tablets Ability to use GPS devices A copy of your social security card Current CPR certification Must pass a criminal background check

Drug & Physical Testing:

Mandatory pre-employment requirement Caring and compassionate personality Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations such as rush hour

Schedule:

Monday through Friday No weekends

Important Notice:

If you do not have CPR certification, we will provide training to you for this certification. This position is ideal for individuals committed to providing safe transportation while delivering excellent customer service.

Pay:

$14.00 - $20.00 per hour
