Responsibilities Safely operate our tractor-trailer trucks to deliver goods within designated local routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Manage route driving with precision, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and delivery updates to optimize efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing questions or concerns courteously. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly. Qualifications Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to operate commercial trucks with automatic transmissions. Experience with manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks and familiarity with warehouse material handling procedures. Knowledge of traffic laws and DOT regulations related to weight handling in the workplace. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
