Background:
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), Medical Transportation, Patient Transportation, Healthcare, Transportation, or Logistics American Wheel Transportation is looking for a reliable and compassionate Driver to provide safe and professional non-emergency medical transportation services to patients and clients across the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. This role is ideal for a responsible and dependable driver who is committed to patient safety, excellent customer service, and providing a comfortable transportation experience for individuals traveling to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities. Responsibilities
  • Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, healthcare facilities, rehabilitation centers, and other approved destinations.
  • Assist passengers with safe entry and exit from the vehicle when required.
  • Follow assigned schedules, routes, and transportation instructions while maintaining punctuality.
  • Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate trip records and provide professional, compassionate service to passengers at all times. Requirements
  • Must be 25 years of age or older with a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Previous professional driving, NEMT, medical transportation, healthcare, transportation, or logistics experience is preferred.
  • Ability to safely assist elderly individuals, patients, and individuals with mobility needs.
  • Reliable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently.
  • Must be based in the Dallas / DFW area and authorized to work in the United States.
