Position Responsibilities Safely transport ambulatory and wheelchair patients to medical appointments, dialysis treatments, hospital discharges, rehabilitation facilities, and other healthcare destinations Assist passengers with professionalism, patience, and compassion Maintain cleanliness and readiness of assigned vehicle Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare staff, patients, and families Complete vehicle inspections and follow company safety standards Represent Shannon NEMT in a professional manner at all times Physical Requirements This position is active and requires team members to regularly: Sit for extended periods while driving Stand for periods throughout the day Walk long distances at hospitals and healthcare facilities Kneel, bend, and assist with passenger securement Push and maneuver occupied wheelchairs safely Enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the shift Applicants should be comfortable working in various weather conditions and maintaining a physically active workday.
Schedule Requirements Standard shift:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM
  • 4:00 PM or Monday
  • Friday 10:00 AM
