You will operate a wheelchair ramp equipped van, adhering to all traffic and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations while delivering essential services to our community. Duties Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT regulations to ensure timely deliveries. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with patients, healthcare staff, and team members during pickups and drop-offs. Maintain accurate documentation of transport activities using mobile devices or electronic logs for compliance purposes. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before each shift to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly. Qualifications Prior experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or van driving preferred. Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safe manual handling practices required for load & unload tasks. Familiarity with route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance standards. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely throughout the shift. $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
