Job description Responsibilities Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Assure participants are delivered to appointments in a timely manner. Follow established schedules, adjusts schedules to meet unanticipated changes, and determines the safest and most efficient pick-up and delivery routes. Assist passengers on and off the van in a safe and courteous manner. Inspect vehicle and maintain it clean, orderly, and safe condition before and after a shift. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during service. Complete driver logs electronically or on paper accurate record of trips information each time the vehicle is used. Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with geriatric individuals including those with cognitive decline and/or physical frailties. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Requirements At least 21 yrs old Valid VA, MD or DC Driver's License and 5 years clean driving record Must pass background check and drug screening Have reliable means of transportation to work Able to work effectively in a team environment Able to use smart phones
Experience:
MVR:
at least 2 years NEMT driving experience is a plus
License/Certification:
Driver's License(2yrs) (Virginia, DC or Maryland )
Work Location:
We based in Williamsburg and serve the state of Virginia; 99% of our trips are going to or coming from Williamsburg, Newport News, Hampton, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Richmond and surrounding areas) Please submit your resume along with a copy of your driving record for consideration.
