Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Mover/Packer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing, loading, and unloading items while ensuring the safety of yourself and others. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers. Whether you're experienced in warehouse operations or new to moving and delivery, your contribution will make a real difference in helping clients transition smoothly to their new spaces. Responsibilities Safely load and unload household or commercial items using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, utilizing appropriate wrapping and packing materials Operate box trucks, vans, or other delivery vehicles in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, material handling, and organization of supplies Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring adherence to weight limits and safe lifting practices Drive route deliveries using mobile devices for navigation, maintaining punctuality and professionalism at all times Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules while providing excellent customer service Skills Prior warehouse experience or moving background preferred; familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus Experience with delivery driving, including personal vehicle or courier services, is highly desirable Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and safe driving practices on route driving assignments Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting techniques and adhering to safety regulations Proficiency in using mobile devices for route navigation, communication, and documentation Strong understanding of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and weight handling in the workplace Join us if you're ready to bring energy, precision, and a customer-focused attitude to a role that keeps things moving smoothly!
