In this role, you will assist older adults and their families by providing professional moving services during life's important transitions. You will safely pack, load, transport, unload, and set up clients' belongings while treating every item with care and respect. We are looking for someone who is reliable, physically capable, organized, and committed to providing exceptional customer service with integrity and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities Packing and Preparation:
Carefully wrap, pack, and prepare household items, furniture, artwork, and valuables for safe transportation.
Loading and Unloading:
Safely lift, carry, load, and unload furniture, boxes, and household belongings while following proper moving techniques to prevent damage or injury.
Furniture Placement and Setup:
Reassemble furniture as needed and place belongings according to client instructions, helping create a comfortable and functional new living space.
Transportation:
Assist with transporting clients' belongings between residences, senior living communities, storage facilities, or other designated locations maintaining the security of all items.
Protection of Property:
Use moving blankets, shrink wrap, floor protection, and other materials to safeguard clients' belongings as well as both the departure and destination properties.
Customer Service:
Provide courteous, compassionate, and professional service, recognizing that every move represents a significant life transition for our clients and their families.
Problem Solving:
Remain calm and adaptable when unexpected challenges arise, finding safe and efficient solutions while maintaining a positive attitude.
Organization and Efficiency:
Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail, ensuring all belongings are accurately accounted for and delivered to the proper location.
Integrity and Trustworthiness:
Demonstrate honesty, dependability, and respect while working in clients' homes and handling personal belongings.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with Transition Specialists and fellow Move Specialists to provide a seamless, stress-free experience from packing through move-in.
Qualifications Experience:
Previous experience in moving, furniture delivery, warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Physical Capability:
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds individually and heavier items with team assistance. Must be comfortable standing, bending, climbing stairs, and performing physically demanding work throughout the day. Attention to

Strong organizational skills and the ability to carefully handle valuable and sentimental belongings.
Customer Service Skills:
Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
Positive Attitude:
Ability to remain flexible, patient, and solution-oriented in changing environments.
Reliability:
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to
