Summary:

This position is responsible for moving, loading, unloading and set-up of furniture and household goods during client services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely remove customer belongings and furniture from customer homes and into the truck using safe lifting techniques Carefully and strategically pack furniture and other belongings into the moving truck Unload the moving truck and place belongings into new customer location as specified or in an organized manner if not specified Use padding and wrapping to properly protect customer property and belongings Keep track of equipment and ensure safe return Reset moving truck and equipment to prepare for next service Greet customers and maintain excellent customer service Complete Muscle Mover training training Maintain excellent attendance

Qualifications:

Physical ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to stand, walk, lift, and reach throughout the duration of the shift. Ability to bend, crouch, walk backward or side to side, and up and down stairs while carrying furniture. Excellent communication and customer service skills required. Ability to work with a team, exercise good judgment and sound decision-making required. Little to no experience moving required

Work Environment:

Extreme weather conditions including heat, rain, snow, cold, and other.

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 30.0 per week
