Job Description
Blackberry Creek Mattress is looking for a dependable, hard-working Delivery Team Member to join our team full-time. This is a hands-on position where you will help deliver comfort and peace of mind to our customers by making sure their new mattress, box spring, or adjustable base is delivered and set up with care. Our delivery team plays a major role in the customer experience, so we are looking for someone who is reliable, respectful, energetic, and willing to work hard. About the Job As a Mattress Delivery Team Member, you will be responsible for: Delivering and setting up mattresses, box springs, and adjustable bases in customers' homes Providing friendly, respectful, and professional service during every delivery Carefully handling customers' homes and products Loading and unloading mattresses and furniture-related items Assisting with warehouse organization and daily warehouse tasks Unloading mattresses into our warehouse Loading mattresses and accessories into customers' vehicles Working as part of a team to complete deliveries safely and efficiently This position does require heavy lifting, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. You will be going into customers' homes, so professionalism and care are very important. Requirements Must be 21 years or older Clean driving record Reliable transportation Positive attitude and strong work ethic Self-motivated and dependable Good time management skills Ability to work well with others Customer-focused mindset Ability to lift at least 150 lbs with assistance Willingness to work in a physically active role Preferred, But Not Required Previous delivery experience Experience driving a large box truck Warehouse experience Experience moving furniture, mattresses, or large items Previous delivery or box truck experience is helpful, but not required. We provide training to help the right person succeed in this position.
