Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Mover/Packer, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient relocations and deliveries. This energetic position involves physically handling, packing, loading, and unloading items with precision and care. You'll be the backbone of our moving operations, providing excellent customer service while adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities Safely load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, ensuring proper labeling and organization Operate box trucks and commercial trucks with manual transmission while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Drive delivery routes using personal or company-provided vehicles, including courier-style drivers and route driving assignments Assist with warehouse operations by organizing inventory, managing storage spaces, and maintaining cleanliness Load and unload items from trucks efficiently while following safe lifting practices to prevent injury Provide excellent customer service during delivery or pickup appointments, addressing client needs professionally and courteously Experience Prior warehouse experience or experience in moving services preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and adherence to traffic regulations Familiarity with commercial driving, including operating box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmissions Experience with manual handling, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices in a warehouse or moving environment Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently Knowledge of DOT regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and vehicle operation is a plus Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, documentation, or communication during shifts Join us today to be part of a team that values energy, safety, and exceptional service!
