JOB DESCRIPTION A

moving company is seeking individuals to load and unload products in and out of trucks. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Job Duties:

Load and unload vehicles by hand or by using a hand truck or dolly Wrap furniture with blankets to prevent damage Wrap dishes and fragile items in packing paper and pack into containers Pad, stack, and secure items in position on truck to prevent damage Deliver and stack shipment on customer's premises Assist in cleaning truck, tools, and equipment Collect or pick up empty containers and packing materials Wear uniform acceptable to company

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

Three to six months related experience is preferred Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner Must have the ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs, requests, and assistance Must have excellent communication skills Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds, frequently 100 pounds, and occasionally more than 100 pounds Must have work boots Must have the ability to follow all policies and procedures Must be at work every day and on time. Must have a polite and friendly personality with a neat appearance Must be able to maintain confidentiality Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
