Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mover/Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while safely transporting goods and assisting with moving tasks. This role requires a strong commitment to teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities Safely drive and operate box trucks or vans to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items efficiently using manual handling techniques and equipment such as hand trucks. Assist customers with packing, loading, and unloading their belongings during moves. Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at job sites. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during the moving process. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of moving tasks. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in moving or logistics preferred but not required, with knowledge of best practices in handling various types of items. Valid driver's license with experience driving commercial vehicles, including box trucks. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for ensuring proper loading and unloading procedures. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and perform manual labor throughout the day.
