This position is responsible for safely packing, moving, cleaning, documenting, storing, and returning customers' personal belongings following water, fire, smoke, mold, or other property damage. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in challenging environments, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service during what can be a stressful time for homeowners and businesses. Key Responsibilities Pack, label, inventory, and transport customers' personal belongings. Carefully handle furniture, electronics, clothing, household goods, and other contents. Clean and deodorize contents affected by smoke, water, or other damage. Assist with content manipulation, pack-outs, pack-backs, and storage. Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently. Photograph and document contents and work performed. Maintain accurate inventories and paperwork. Use appropriate cleaning equipment, products, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Follow company safety procedures and restoration industry standards. Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, insurance representatives, and other parties. Maintain clean, organized work areas, vehicles, equipment, and storage facilities. Assist other restoration technicians and departments when needed. Respond to emergency restoration situations and occasional after-hours calls when required. Qualifications Previous restoration, moving, cleaning, warehouse, construction, or customer- service experience is preferred but not required. Ability to lift and carry independently up to 40 pounds and perform physically demanding work. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work in homes and businesses affected by water, fire, smoke, mold, and other property damage. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and basic computer applications. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, if required by company policy.
