As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting items while providing exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities Safely load and unload items from trucks or delivery vehicles. Operate box trucks and other vehicles for transportation of goods. Assist in packing and unpacking items as needed. Ensure all items are secured during transit to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on delivery status. Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and warehouse space. Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for moving heavy items. Perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job. Skills Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in commercial driving, particularly with box trucks, is advantageous. Background as a delivery driver or courier is beneficial. Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Familiarity with loading and unloading techniques to ensure safety and efficiency. Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is desirable. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
