- FY 2026 Job Description Responsibilities of a Part Time Aviation Instructor include but are not limited to: Lecture and Lab instruction for Aviation Courses Develop Lesson Plans, and course materials in conjunction with Lead Faculty Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes Provide advisement to students Some program and or curriculum development may be requested Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested Required Qualifications FAA issued Certificated Flight (II) Instructor, OR FAA issued Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating and Advanced Ground Instructor Certificate, and Instrument Ground Instructor.
Learning Management Systems Schedule:
Aviation courses are taught at the CSN Henderson Campus A Building, they are typically in-person and can be scheduled during the day, or evenings.Salary:
$925.00 per lecture credit hour. Credits will vary by semester. Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.
