Job Description
Job Summary
Reports To:
Chief Pilot
CHI Aviation is seeking candidates for a Second-in-Command (SIC) position on the S-61 helicopter. This is a dynamic role that offers opportunities to work both inside and outside of the USA based on the needs of the company. Schedules may vary with contracts, typically a 60/60, 45/45, 30/30, 21/21 or 14/14 schedule. Primary role will be as an SIC on construction aircraft with an opportunity to upgrade and/or move to other contract work based on proficiency not seniority. Requirements
Commercial Helicopter Rating.
Instrument - Helicopter Rating
500 Hours RW Time
Current Medical Class II.
Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds and push 75 pounds.
Ability to travel on demand with limited notice to remote locations when required.
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Ability to pass a physical assessment at a Combat Readiness Center (CRC).
Knowledge of basic computer skills and MS office.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
The preferred candidate will have:
Utility Experience
1000 hours RW time.
NVG Experience.
Turbine experience.
Multi engine experience
Military experience.
Heavy/Large helicopter experience.
