Job Description

As a Fixed Wing Pilot at Global Medical Response (GMR), you will play a critical role in our mission to provide rapid, high-quality emergency services. Our pilots transport medical teams and patients, ensuring swift and secure delivery to medical facilities. Piloting our state-of-the-art fixed-wing aircrafts requires precision, professionalism, and a dedication to safety and patient care. Responsibilities Operate GMR fixed-wing aircrafts in accordance with operational regulations and policies. Coordinate closely with medical personnel and dispatch teams to ensure timely mission execution. Conduct pre-flight inspections and post-flight maintenance checks to confirm aircrafts are in optimal condition for safe operations. Monitor weather conditions and air traffic information to make informed decisions about flight routes. Maintain accurate flight logs and records in compliance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. Partake in ongoing training and simulation exercises to enhance flying skills and response capabilities. Required Skills Profound knowledge of FAA regulations and flight operations. Ability to make quick decisions in emergency scenarios. Exceptional communication and coordination skills to work effectively with medical and dispatch teams. Adept at managing stress and maintaining professionalism and calm under pressure. Skilled in navigation and operational aspects of flying fixed-wing aircrafts.
