In this vital role, you will provide safe, efficient, and courteous assistance to individuals requiring mobility aid, ensuring they experience a comfortable and dignified journey. Your responsibilities will include helping clients board and disembark vehicles, securing wheelchairs, and maintaining clear communication with passengers and team members. This position offers an engaging opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives through attentive service and reliable transportation. Responsibilities Assist passengers with wheelchair boarding, disembarking, and securing within vehicles to ensure safety during transit Operate passenger vans, shuttle buses, or specialized medical transportation vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations Navigate local driving routes using GPS systems efficiently while adhering to state transportation regulations Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout the journey Perform routine vehicle inspections, basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly Handle heavy lifting safely when assisting clients or managing mobility equipment Maintain accurate logs of trips, client interactions, and vehicle conditions for accountability and safety compliance Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or in similar commercial driving roles Valid driver's license appropriate for passenger vehicle operation; experience with driver or limousine service preferred Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes for efficient route planning Knowledge of manual handling techniques and heavy lifting safety standards Experience in medical transportation or paratransit services is highly desirable Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members Ability to adhere strictly to traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional demeanor at all times Join us in delivering dependable mobility solutions that prioritize safety, comfort, and dignity.
