Job Description
Join a Mission That Changes Lives EA Family Services is seeking a dedicated Transporter to support foster youth and young adults in our Sacramento program. EA Family Services is a nonprofit agency serving communities throughout Northern California, providing safe, nurturing homes for foster youth and comprehensive support for young adults transitioning out of foster care. As a Transporter, you will play a vital role in helping youth access important services, maintain family connections, and attend critical appointments. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young people. Key Responsibilities Safely transport foster youth to visitation appointments, court hearings, medical appointments, school-related activities, and other approved destinations. Monitor supervised visits and ensure the safety and well-being of youth during transportation and visitation activities. Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of transportation and visitation services. Follow agency policies and procedures while demonstrating professionalism and confidentiality. Build positive, supportive relationships with youth and families. Qualifications Minimum of two years of driving experience . Clean driving record. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and some weekends as needed. Commitment to working with foster youth and families from diverse backgrounds. Requirements Successful completion of DOJ, FBI, and CAIC clearances . Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Why Join EA Family Services?
