In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating truck to transport freight efficiently and reliably across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial driving, route management, and vehicle handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation that values safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. Duties Operate tractor-trailers to transport freight across multiple routes. Drop and Hook, No touch loads Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal and state laws. Follow designated routes efficiently while adjusting for traffic or weather conditions to meet delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times, route changes, or issues encountered during transit. Ensure all cargo is secured properly before departure and during transit to prevent damage or accidents. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery, including route driving and load management Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols. Excellent navigation skills for efficient route planning and execution. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks related to freight handling and vehicle inspections.
