Sun-Thu What You'll Do:

Drive test vehicles for 4-8 hours daily on predefined routes, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols. Perform routine vehicle inspections to confirm roadworthiness and address any maintenance needs. Conduct basic software operations to support real-time data collection. Accurately document observations, issues, and anomalies encountered during test runs. Collaborate with engineers, providing valuable feedback to enhance system performance. Assist with vehicle logistics, maintenance coordination, and storage.

Ideal profile:

The ideal candidate will have experience driving and doing data collection for an autonomous vehicle company, but AV experience is not required. They will not be driving an AV, but knowledge of them is important.

Daily tasks:

Support vehicle operations and drive 4-8 hours daily. Perform basic software operation to support mission requirements. Ensure vehicle roadworthiness and cleanliness are maintained. Assist in logistical support for vehicle maintenance, movement, and storage. Provide written and verbal feedback to the engineering team. Skills Proven experience as a professonal route delivery driver or in bus driving, shuttle driving, roles. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time navigation adjustments. Strong knowledge of local driving routes, state transportation regulations, and passenger vehicle operation standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manage manual handling tasks effectively. Experience in medical transportation or paratransit services Basic vehicle maintenance skills to identify issues early and ensure vehicle reliability. Strong adherence to traffic laws, safety protocols, and client confidentiality requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered, candidates must have: ✔ At least 1+ year of professional driving experience (3+ years preferred) ✔ A valid U.S. Driver's License held for the past 3+ years ✔ A clean driving record ✔ No DUI convictions ✔ No moving violations within the past 12 months ✔ Ability to work onsite in Sunnyvale, CA Interview + Manager road test

Pay:

From $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
