Do you like driving? Want to help individuals get to medical, grocery, and other important appointments? Want to work for a company with a purpose that is actively trying to make West Central Indiana a better place to live? We are looking for a Driver to transport clients comfortably, safely, and in a timely manner. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. You don't need a car; we provide drivers with our own vehicles; however, you do need daily transportation to our offices to pick up your bus.

Responsibilities:

Safely operating a small transit vehicle. Operate a small tablet that has your pick-up/drop-off locations and driving direction map. Assist clients with loading and unloading (when requested) Answer clients' questions about the area and local places of interest (when requested) Ensure the vehicle is clean and comfortable for all riders Perform a five-minute daily safety report of the vehicle condition

Skills:

Demonstrated experience as a safe and courteous vehicle operator A valid driver's license A relatively clean driving record Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50) Familiarity with GPS devices (like Google Maps) Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods is a plus, but not required. Ability to lift 50 lbs. A polite and professional disposition Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at morning rush hour) A high school diploma We embrace diversity, as it drives innovation.
