00/9:00 am-3:30/2:30 pm 52 hours Paid Time Off yearly! ESST 8 paid Holidays off! 1 week off in the summer over the 4th of July! 1 week off during Christmas! Do you want to work in an exciting, fun, atmosphere?! The skills professional is responsible for the direct treatment and care of participants in an adult day setting and responsible for the items outlined below. In addition, employees of Brighter Horizons Adult Day Care will also adhere to all policies and procedures set forth and perform any and all duties assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

Positive reference/Background Checks, High School Diploma/GED, 18 years of age, (or 21 years of age if hired as a driver) Valid Driver's License as driving is required, Ability to speak/write

English Principle Responsibilities:

Participate as a member of a team Maintain a clean, safe environment for participants (perform housekeeping duties) Assist participants so that they are groomed and toileted/changed at appropriate times during the day. Feed, toilet, assist walking, and any additional cares needed. Appropriately dressed (No tank tops or revealing articles of clothing, no shorty-shorts, no clothes with rips or stains, no shirts with obscene statements, no hats or head coverings, no earphones, no flip-flops or open toed shoes, no dangling jewelry) Reporting illnesses and other concerns to supervisor/and or nurse Comply with nursing instructions Know and follow proper techniques for lifting and positioning participants (be able to lift 50 lbs. to assist individuals in wheelchairs with transfers and lifts, etc.) Identify hazards in areas and inform supervisors Maintain for participants safety at all times while on the premise, in vehicles, and community Follow procedures for reporting abuse, neglect, elopement, and unsafe conditions Know and follow all policies and procedures, including fire, tornado, and medical emergencies Complete all required documentation daily (daily notes, health notes, etc.) Provide transportation and comply with transportation policies and procedures Pass medications and complete treatments as prescribed by doctor For more information, contact Brighter Horizons (Amy) at 218-829-0636.
