Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Non-Commercial Driver's License Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various passenger and cargo vehicles to ensure timely and secure transportation services. Your primary focus will be on adhering to traffic regulations, maintaining excellent customer service, and ensuring the safety of passengers and cargo alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity for drivers with experience in local routes, shuttle services, medical transportation, or chauffeur driving to showcase their skills in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle different vehicle types with professionalism and care. Responsibilities Operate passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttles, limousines, or personal vehicles for various transportation needs while strictly following all local and state transportation regulations. Safely navigate GPS systems to ensure efficient route planning and timely arrivals at designated locations. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and ensuring comfort throughout the journey. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Load and unload cargo or equipment carefully, utilizing proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury or damage. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition reports in compliance with company policies. Communicate effectively with clients or dispatchers to coordinate schedules, relay important information, and address any concerns during transit. Qualifications Valid Non-Commercial Driver's License (NCDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver, chauffeur, shuttle driver, or bus driver preferred; experience operating passenger vans or medical transportation vehicles is highly desirable. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and local driving routes. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and handle manual tasks safely. Knowledge of traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols related to passenger vehicle operation. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Experience in vehicle maintenance routines and basic troubleshooting skills. Ability to work flexible hours on local routes while maintaining punctuality and professionalism.
