Hourly + TIPS! Job Overview The First Mate plays a crucial role in the operation of a vessel, assisting the Captain in navigating and managing guests. This position requires strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of maritime operations. The First Mate is responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of all onboard activities while maintaining compliance with maritime regulations. Duties Assist the Captain in navigating and operating the vessel safely. Oversee daily operations, including guest check-in and cleaning the vessel. Manage rigging operations, ensuring all gear is secured and maintained. Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures to protect crew and passengers. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for vessel operations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
