Duties Safely operate box trucks, commercial trucks, and personal vehicles to deliver construction materials to various job sites. Load and unload heavy supplies using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices to optimize time and fuel consumption. Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws during all driving activities. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients upon delivery and addressing any questions or concerns. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and maintain a clean, organized delivery vehicle. Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including inventory checks, stock replenishment, and material handling. Requirements Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or related roles within construction supply or similar industries. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks, commercial trucks, or vans preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely; familiarity with weight handling in the workplace is essential. Knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks; manual transmission experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Comfortable working in fast-paced environments involving moving supplies and navigating tight spaces.
