Local deliveries in Imperial County and Yuma County Communicating and coordinating with Supervisor Obeying and following applicable state and federal traffic laws Familiar with FMCSA regulations and requirements Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle Maintaining a detailed log of working hours and breaks in compliance with state and federal regulations Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules Complying with truck driving rules and regulations Reporting defects, accidents and violations Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.) Loading and unloading trucks, trailers, various utility trailers with forklifts and pallet jacks Always interacting with customers in a professional manner Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports Recording cargo deliveries to growers When not delivering loads to growers between our two locations, will assist and perform regular general maintenance duties for Warehouse and Shop yard as requested by Supervisor. Perform general maintenance and repairs assigned by Supervisor Perform regular/general housekeeping duties assigned by Supervisor Assist with any Railcar Activity, loading or unloading duties as assigned by Supervisor following all Safety regulations
Qualifications:
Commercial Driver's License, Class A with clean driving record. HazMat endorsement, preferable Pass a drug screening test and 90-day probationary period.
Pay:
$22.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
