Delivery driver

Job description We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Delivery driver to join our team. We hire team members who are confident in their physical ability, who work well with others and who are focused on doing the best job possible! The Delivery Driver will be responsible for making 15-25 stops per day on a local route all while operating a box truck safely and defensively. The driver will utilize a pallet jack, dolly, and lift gate to offload the merchandise and transport it to the customers. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM until finish. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck
• Load and unload cargo
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after trip
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned route
• Unload goods as per client specifications
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
• Clean and inspect truck upon route completion
• Follow strict safety standards on and off the road
• Complete all assigned deliveries for the day.
• Maintain security of all packages and equipment assigned for the day. Required Qualifications
• Must have 12 months of commercial driving experience in the last 3 years.
• Electric Pallet Jack experience is a plus
• Class C license
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted, use stairs.
• Ability to lift, bend, carry & load packages as well as follow directions and turn by turn maps.
• Strong customer service skills
• Must be looking for long term employment.
• Must adhere to company policies and procedures
• 1 point or less on driving record
• No car Accidents last 3 Years
• Must be able to pass DOT physical as well as a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Bilingual (English, Spanish) preferred Job type
